There Are Currently No School Veggie Gardens in Dunwoody

Sope Creek Garden Expansion from Sope Creek on Vimeo.

This is Sope Creek Elementary in Cobb County.

Fall planting season is NOW. I hear Vanderlyn has said it does not have the funds to do the garden it was planning, but Farmer D said he would do it anyway and let the school owe him so that the fall planting window doesn't get missed.

Anything happening at any of the other schools for fall? I do know that the National Honor Society at Dunwoody High School is sponsoring a bed at the Dunwoody Community Garden at Brook Run. Also, please note that almost 50% of Dunwoody children do not attend public schools in Dunwoody. I'd like to get some of these children involved in the community garden. Anyone want to spearhead a collective way of doing this? We have a plot they could sponsor.
